This gorgeous backyard wedding is full of light, love and culture! This beautiful couple incorporated everything they love into their big day-- their religions and culture, family and traditions. With DIY details surrounding them in the bride's childhood backyard, this blush pink and neutral wedding is a true stunner!
From the photographer, "Sarah & Christian's wedding was held in Port Townsend, Washington (a ferry ride outside of Seattle) in Sarah's parents' backyard. Sarah grew up in the home where the wedding was held and the family could think of no better wedding venue than their own property that has such beautiful views of the Olympic Mountains. The couple met in Africa through their church organizations and religion is very important to the couple and their families. Christian's dad was the officiant for the wedding ceremony. The dress was rebuilt by the bride's grandma, the ties were handmade, and the decor was a DIY masterpiece. Not to mention all of the Polynesian aspects of the day - including a roast pig, Samoan dancers to kick off the reception and traditional leis."
