This stunning lakeside wedding in Coeur d'Alene shows exactly why couples come from near and far to get married here. These two came all the way from Texas to say 'i do' under that rainbow. While many would be deterred by the thought of rain on their wedding day, it is considered good luck!
The bride shares why they decided on Coeur d'Alene, saying, "I grew up in the Pacific Northwest where the water views and greenery are incredible, especially in the summer time. We decided on Lake Coeur D'Alene because the resort offered plenty of accommodations for our 180+ guests with gorgeous mountain and water views. Many of our guests had never been to Coeur D'Alene before, so it was a surprising and unique weekend getaway for them. Our style is "relaxed elegant" I call it. The flowers had natural elements with a touch of purple, and the chandeliers & draping gave the lake setting a chic upgrade."
When asked what her favorite part of their big day was, she said it was the minutes after the ceremony, before entering their reception. "After the wedding ceremony, our DJ played "This Will Be An Everlasting Love" which was our cue to quickly walk back down the aisle and out the back door to our "getaway boat." There, our photographer, videographer, and boat captain awaited us. We cruised around the lake while drinking champagne and enjoying our first 20 minutes as husband and wife. Most of our favorite photos of the day were taken on the boat. Our guests enjoyed a cocktail hour with passed hors d'oeuvres while we were gone. We'll never forget how exciting it was to be greeted by all of our guests as we made our big entrance!"
